Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune (Deemed to be University) was established by the University Grants Commission, Government of India under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 vide its notification dated 11th January 2003.
Presently, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune has 14 Constituent Units that has created a brand name “DPU” in the field of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Optometry, Biotechnology, Management, Ayurved, Homeopathy, Design, Allied Health Sciences, Liberal Arts, Science & Technology, Online Learning Centre and Centre for Skill Development. It has state-of-the-art infrastructure and dedicated faculty members.

Stage 1:
The candidate wishing to apply for any program will register on the Website Application Portal. On registration process begins with OTP verification of Phone number. After successful verification, the candidate proceeds to complete the application form.
The Candidate will complete the application form by entering the requisite data and uploading the eligibility documents as per the program applied for, as per directions in the application form.
After uploading the documents, the candidate will proceed to pay an application fee of Rs 1000/- online. The candidate will receive a receipt of payment for the same, mentioning the payment details.
The candidate who has paid the admission registration fees (Rs.1000/-) will be asked to appear in DYPIU Entrance Test/ Personal Interview after verification of eligibility and documents uploaded.
Shortlisted students will receive a Digital Provisional Admission Offer Letter on the registered email ID of the candidate. Admission will be offered based on Merit.
The candidate can accept the offer letter through a link provided in the offer letter or by login into his/her account.
Upon acceptance of the offer, the candidate will be redirected to the payment link to pay the provisional admission fee within the stipulated time mentioned in the offer letter, failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the offer. After payment of the Provisional admission fees as per schedule, the candidate will receive the login credentials to UMS (University Management System) portal (Collpoll) at the registered email or mobile number provided in the application form.
In case the candidate applies for more than one program, the candidate will give preference in the order in which the admission is sought.
Stage 2:
The candidate is required to upload the remaining documents as required on the UMS and complete all information required on the UMS.
The UMS Registration Number (URN) generated through the portal is unique and needs to be mentioned in all future communication.
After completion of the above process, the candidate will be issued a provisional admission letter confirming the seat in the respective program of the University.
Stage 3:
Admission will be confirmed after the verification of all related original documents confirming the eligibility for the program applied for.
The process is followed by generation Permanent Registration Number (PRN), creation of student dossier, making ID cards.
Simultaneously, online submission of “Anti-Ragging Undertaking” by students and parents on amanmovement.com or antiragging.com is mandatory.
The University reserves the right to cancel the admission if a candidate does not fulfill the University’s admission /eligibility criteria and /or fulfill the prescribed timeline.
The candidate will present/submit original documents to the student section of the University on the first visit to campus.
The candidates are instructed to pay the application fees through the online portal only.
